The Nurture Nature Center is a center dedicated to engaging the public in learning about environmental risks and has a very active group of programs working with the community and schools centering science, art, and community. The program will include a Science on a Sphere show, and they have beautiful gallery and meeting spaces. Easton is located at the confluence of the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers and is not far from the ABE, EWR, and PHL airports. A suite of rooms has been held at the Grand Eastonian and there are other hotels in the area. To get their special rate, you should call (610 258 6350) and let them know the start date. They also have a government rate for those who travel on behalf of the US or Canadian agencies. We will add more possibilities on the website soon.
An optional excursion on the afternoon of the 8th is being planned.
We look forward to seeing you in June, when it should be beautiful in Easton.
Best regards on behalf of the organizing committee,
