Inspiring Girls* Expeditions 2024
Inspiring Girls* Expeditions (htts://inspiringgirls.org) offers tuition-free expeditions such as the long-running Girls* on Ice, as well as Girls* in Icy Fjords and several other expeditions in the US, Canada, and Europe.
Applications are open now – through Jan 31 for North America and Feb 16 for European expeditions.

These expeditions are designed for 16-17 year olds integrate science with art and exploration to build curiosity, creativity, and courage.
We seek applicants from a variety of interests, academic strengths, and cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We do *not* select team members based on past academic achievement, rather we want to select those who will grow and learn most from the expedition. Each expedition has specific age and geographic eligibility, please see the website.
The glaciology community has helped support these expeditions for 24 years, through generosity of resources, encouragement of grad students and post docs to get involved, and just providing positive energy and thoughts.
