ICE is a news bulletin issued free to members of the International Glaciological Society - published three times a year.
It includes summaries of recent work, reports on Society General Meetings, symposia, and publications, and news of other meetings and topics of interest to Society members.
Information about recent work on any aspect of snow and ice should be submitted periodically to National Correspondents who compile it into reports which are published in ICE. Contact your local Correspondent for information on submission dates.
Some of this information from ICE is included in the Directory of European Glaciology by the World Data Centre for Glaciology, Cambridge. This is a joint project with the IGS.
Directories exist for:
Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and United Kingdom
The annual cost for libraries and for individuals who are not members of the Society is £45.00 (pounds Sterling).
Contributions, news items, circulars about forthcoming meetings of interest, awards to members, etc. should be sent directly to the IGS via our main contact details.
