IGS Policy on Posting of Manuscripts

The International Glaciological Society permits authors to post manuscripts to preprint servers such as arXiv, EarthArXiv and ESSOAr, to institutional repositories and on their personal and professional websites, under the following conditions:

Manuscript status (e.g. submitted, accepted, in press, published) must be clearly indicated, along with the name of the journal Accepted, in-press or published manuscripts should replace their submitted counterparts upon the change of status, and be accompanied by complete citation information; in the case of a published article, a link should be provided to the on-line version of record Manuscripts that have been rejected should be removed from preprint servers where possible

Cambridge University Press publishes IGS journals as Gold Open Access, with authors selecting one of three Creative Commons licenses (CC-BY, CC-BY-NC, CC-BY-NC-ND): https://www.cambridge.org/core/services/open-access-policies/open-access-resources/creative-commons-licenses🡕. Authors posting accepted, in-press and published manuscripts must ensure they are in compliance with the relevant license.
